Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The World Health Organization has announced that the virus that caused the Coronavirus outbreak could develop into an endemic. It is not right to predict when the outbreak that has long afflicted the world will end, World Health Organization officials said, and even if a vaccine is found against the virus that leads to the Coronavirus outbreak, such as the HIV virus that causes AIDS, it may never disappear.
Mike Ryan, an emergency specialist at the World Health Organization, said intensive work had to be carried out to stop the outbreak, adding that the virus could become an endemic in our communities and never disappear.
Ryan also stressed the importance of telling people about the situation correctly, ending his remarks by saying: "I don't think anyone can say when this disease is going to end. I don't think there are promises or dates to be made in this area. The disease can develop into a long-term problem, or vice versa."
