Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- The World Health Organization (WHO) Emergency Committee has recommended that due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, there should be no "vaccination passport" requirement for the continuation of the "global emergency" and international travel.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus held a press conference via video conference at the organization's headquarters in Geneva.

Mike Ryan, director of the WHO Emergencies Programme, said that the Committee did not recommend the requirement that travelers have documents that prove they have been vaccinated, at the meeting.
