Serhat TUNAR -TDO- WhatsApp has decided to ban users who do not share their data with Facebook. After the decision, many users turned to WhatsApp for other alternative communication apps. Facebook Middle East, Africa and Turkey Regional Vice President Derya Ozkaya Matras, made a statement about the decision, which drew reaction.

Stating that this is the main reason for the update in the privacy policy, Matraş used the following statements: "We have updated our Privacy Policy in the future to help businesses manage their communications with their customers over WhatsApp. This update allows businesses to get secure hosting services through our parent company, Facebook, if they want in the future. Of course, it is still at the user's initiative whether or not to communicate with a business over Whatsapp. Or, whether or not to receive such a secure hosting service through Facebook is also at the initiative of the business, not Facebook."
