In a few months Turkish football will be represented by the national team on the European arena, but the view that has recently emerged is not very encouraging. Two major clubs, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor are crying that they are finished and about to go bankrupt. They are even trying to get their players to relinquish the money promised to them on the pretext of “sacrifice”.On the other hand, new formations, states of affairs and new regulations headed by the state are being promised to the public as a hope against the chaos. The “fact” that the present situation has to end, be picked up and assessed on different grounds over which action should be taken was once more voiced at a meeting held recently in Istanbul.
