WASHINGTON POST: COMPANY BACKING GUAIDO SOUGHT MONEY FROM U.S. BUSINESS PEOPLE

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Venezuela, a private company supporting Juan Guaido, the president of the National Assembly, allegedly asked 2 business people in the United States for money through blackmail in order to obtain cash assistance to overthrow President Nicolas Maduro.

Javier Troconis, who is tasked with providing financial support to Juan Guaido from abroad, met with 2 American business people to help financially topple Maduro from power, the Washington Post reported.

Troconis has offered business people Jorge Reyes and Pedro Antar a takeover of Venezuela's state-owned oil company's $ 40 billion asset in the Caribbean.

According to documents seized by the Washington Post, Reyes and Antar were offered a $ 750k upfront payment, a partnership with their company, and an 18 percent commission on Guaido supporter officials who conducted the negotiations.
