Serhat TUNAR -TDO- A letter written by Vincent Van Gogh, one of the famous painters of the twentieth century, and the Frenchman Paul Gauguin, on a visit to a brothel, was purchased by the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam for 210 thousand euros.
In the 4-page letter, which previously belonged to an unnamed person, Van Gogh addressed his painter friend Gauguin, saying: "Now this thing will interest you. We both took small walks in the brothel. I think we'll go there more often now and do studies."
Vincent van Gogh writes in the letter: "at the moment Gauguin is painting on canvas and working on his night coffee, which I had already drawn. However, it also featured some figures from the brothel. Looks like a pretty good job coming up."
