Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The United States took action to increase its military support to Saudi Arabia, which was attacked by two oil refineries on September 14th. The United States Department of Defense announced that four radar systems, a Patriot air defense battery and nearly 200 personnel will be sent to Saudi Arabia.
The United States announced that it would increase its military forces in Saudi Arabia right after the attack. In a statement made by the US military officials, in order to respond more quickly in the event of a crisis, two Patriot batteries and a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system announced that it sent to Saudi Arabia.
After the world's major crude oil refineries were attacked, the United States and Saudi Arabia authorities blamed Iran for the attack; Iran, on the other hand, declared that it had nothing to do with the attack undertaken by the Shiite Houthis in Yemen, fighting with the Saudi-led alliance.
