Serhat TUNAR -TDO- A Turkish ship named 'M/V Mozart', cruising off the Gulf of Guinea off the coast of West Africa, was attacked by pirates. One crew member was killed and 15 sailors were kidnapped. It is claimed that 3 people remained for the management of the ship, and the ship sailed blind to a safe port.
The ship, which was on its way from Lagos, Nigeria, to Cape Town, South Africa, reportedly had 19 crew members. 18 of the crew are known to be Turkish and a foreign national.
As a result of the initial findings, 15 people from the crew were abducted, according to the UAV. The fourth captain, Furkan Yaren, reported that all the cables except the radar had been removed and that they were following the route given to them by the Pirates.
The second engineer, Farman Ismayilov, was killed, Yaren said. Nigerian hackers are also waiting for news to negotiate. The body of the slain Ismayilov was said to be on board.
