Serhat TUNAR -TDO- United States President Donald Trump has announced that he is lifting the ban on travel to the Schengen area, the UK, Ireland and Brazil due to an outbreak of coronavirus, effective January 26.

Trump announced his new decision in March 2020 on travel bans imposed on foreign nationals traveling to the United States from the United Kingdom, Ireland and Brazil, as well as European countries in the Schengen area.

In the circular he signed to lift the ban, Trump reminded the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that he would request a negative coronavirus test result from all passengers traveling from international lines starting January 26.

The president of the United States said that this practice of the CDC is sufficient to ensure safety from a health point of view, and that the bans on these countries will also be lifted from this date.
