Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- In the US, Donald Trump signed a presidential decree banning transactions with 8 China-based apps that offer the possibility of paying over phones.
Trump, who considers the apps a "national danger," says user information using the app could be shared with the Beijing government.
In a statement issued by the White House on the issue, Trump requested that the Commerce Department be banned from trading with 8 mobile payment applications in the United States under the decree he signed.
Apps including Alipay of Ant group were announced as CamScanner, QQ Wallet, SHAREit, Tencent QQ, VMate, WeChat Pay, and WPS Office.
After the decree on these practices, the Ministry of Commerce has 45 days to take action.
