Serhat TUNAR -TDO- United States President Donald Trump has announced that Iran has identified 52 targets belonging to Iran to hit if it attacks United States citizens or elements of the United States.
Tensions between the United States and Iran peaked after Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's Quds Force, was killed by the United States.
Responding to Iran's threats to the United States military and its citizens via his social media account, Donald Trump said:
"As we have recently cleared the world of its terrorists, who have killed hundreds of Iranian protesters and all the people it has killed in its life, as well as one American and many others, Iran speaks quite bravely about targeting some elements of the United States. Soleimani was attacking our embassy and preparing to hit other places. Iran has already done nothing but trouble for years. Let this be a warning: If Iran attacks Americans or American elements, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites, representing 52 Americans who were taken hostage by Iran years ago. Some of them are high-level and very important in terms of Iran and Iranian culture. Those targets, and Iran itself, will be hit very quickly and very hard. The United States does not want any more threats."
