Serhat TUNAR -TDO- New traffic lights equipped with cameras and sensors measuring the level of pollution in the air have been introduced in Moscow, the Russian capital.
"New traffic lights with square cross-section appeared at five points in Moscow," the press service of the Moscow Transport Department said on the Telegram channel. Although their signals are habitually round-shaped, these traffic lights are capable of much more than their other ‘counterparts’. The square traffic light allows drivers to see other images or signals, for example, allowing pedestrians and vehicles to see simultaneous movements on turns. In addition, they are equipped with cameras and sensors that measure the level of pollution in the air."
