Görkem ŞEKEROĞLU -TDO- Officials said that three people have been killed and three more wounded in separate attacks across Afghanistan. This has raised concerns about the outcome of peace talks that have been suspended until next month.

Early on Monday (28 December), a driver of the Defense Ministry was wounded after an improvised bomb hit a ministry’s vehicle in Police District 4 of the capital Kabul, the police said.

In the eastern provincial capital Ghazni, gunmen opened fire on two provincial revenue directorate workers and killed them in Police District 2 of the city at about 8 a.m. local time, the provincial police spokesman told the press.

In neighbouring Khost province, an improvised bomb targeted the car of a provincial council member, on the outskirts of Khost city, killing one security guard and wounding the council member and a security guard.

So far no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
