Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- The response to the fires that started in The Manavgat district of Antalya on July 28 and then broke out separately in 21 different provinces continues in Turkey.
Three people died in Manavgat and one person died due to fires in the Marmaris district of Muğla.
Thousands of animals perished in the fires, and forest and farmland and greenhouse areas in the region were reduced to ashes.
Villages and other settlements threatened by the fires were evacuated.
According to the latest statements of Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bekir Pakdemirli, fires have been brought under control in 57 locations, while the situation is improving in places where fires continue.
Messages of solidarity and well-being were posted on social media from other countries for the fires.
"We pray for Turkey, we stand by you," the messages, especially from Pakistan, India and Azerbaijan, said.
Government officials and journalists are among those who have sent their best wishes.
