The summit in Paris was on the aim of lowering carbon emissions after 2020 and an agreement on financial aid to poorer countries for combating climate change. The summit, which was held in Le Bourget in north eastern Paris took place between November 30th and December 11th. The summit was attended by 195 countries and 150 heads of state and government, including US President Barack Obama, Chinese President Xi Jinping, UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
