It has been revealed that Neelie Kroes, one of the former vice-presidents of the European Commission, was a director of an offshore company based in the Bahamas, a country known as an offshore tax haven.
In April 2016, International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) had leaked the Panama paper, and now it has shared Bahamian files, with the public through the world' most prominent 32 media organizations.
She awarded for her fight against tax evasion
NeelieKroes, the former vice-presidents of the European Commission, is the most noteworthy name who involved in the tax evasion list of Bahamas files since she awarded for her fight against tax evasion in Europe.
Kroes had worked as vice-president of the European Commission, furthermore she served as representative who is responsible for competition between 2000 and 2014, and it has been revealed that she administered an offshore company in the Bahamas between 2000 and 2009.
Kroes also served as Minister of Transport in the Netherlands before being elected to the European Commission.
