TEENS WHO BURNED KHAMENEI POSTER IN IRAN SENTENCED TO PRISON

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Iran in 2019, 3 teenagers accused of setting fire to a poster of Ali Khamenei and a gas station were sentenced to a total of 40 years in prison during demonstrations to protest the gasoline hike.

According to the Iranian human rights activists Agency, the Dezful Revolutionary Court sentenced Raad Hemadani, Ghazi Hosroci and Seccad Debbat to 40 years in prison for setting fire to Khamenei and a gas station during protests over a gas hike last November.

Hemadani was sentenced to 20 years, Hosroci and Debbat to 10 years.

It is known that 3 young people who were detained by security forces in the District of Shush in the province of Khuzestan after the gasoline hike demonstrations have been held in prison since then.
