SYRIAN FORCES HIT PYD BY AIRSTRIKES FOR THE FIRST TIME

The fight between Kurdish People' Protection Units (YPG) and Syrian army has intensified in Hasakah, a northeastern city in Syria. PYD, which was backed by the US government on the fight against ISIS, was bombed for the first time by the pro-government forces in 5 years of civil war. Airstrikes targeted key Kurdish positions in Hasakah.According to the Russian news agency Sputnik, a Kurdish force known as Asayish’s spokesperson Malik Haseki reported 6 civilian casualties and dozens injured while lots of houses have been destroyed.
