Serhat TUNAR -TDO- President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that a delegation, including Deputy Foreign Minister, Deputy Defense Minister and national security representatives, would be in Moscow shortly to discuss the situation in Libya and Syria. Russian Senator Oleg Morozov, who expressed his views on this statement, said the problems in these two countries could not be solved without Turkey's help.
Morozov, who is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federation Council, the upper wing of the Russian parliament, said in a statement that the parties are committed to working on the complex problems in Syria and Libya. Morozov also stated:
"Indeed, Turkey now stands out as a very serious partner in the crisis situations in these two countries. We have similar, close or completely overlapping views on most of these issues, and we understand that many problems cannot be solved in both Syria and Libya without serious and deep involvement from the Turkish side."
