RUSSIAN COSMONAUT: WOUNDS HEAL FASTER IN SPACE

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Russian cosmonaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, who stated that he healed his wounds much faster on the International Space Station (UUI), where he served, said that the reason for this was the lack of bacteria in space and the constant cleaning of the air on the station.

In a video shared on his social media account, Russian cosmonaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov said: "in my opinion, here the wounds heal more quickly. Probably because of the lack of many numbers and varieties of bacteria, air that is constantly cleaned and dried.”

Russian cosmonauts Sergey Rijikov and Sergey Kud-Sverçkov, United States citizen astronauts Kate Rubins, Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover and Shannon Walker, and Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi are on duty aboard the International Space Station.
