Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has warned that Russia will not accept Kyiv's proposal for a review of the 2015 eastern Ukraine peace deal.
Lavrov responded to a call by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy to "renew the Minsk negotiations and update some points."
Speaking to a Russian TV station, Lavrov accused Ukrainian officials of not complying with the rules of the agreement signed in Minsk in 2015 and said Western countries were unresponsive to it.
"Western countries either do not want or cannot ask for compliance with the Minsk agreement. Control of the border is the latest issue to be discussed after the registration of special status for these territories in the Ukrainian A Constitution and the holding of free elections, as the OSCE has confirmed," he said.
