Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Britain, the echoes of Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan Markle's decision to withdraw from their senior posts in the royal family continue.
Following the decision, which allegedly sparked frustration within the royal family, Queen Elizabeth summoned her grandson, Prince Harry, to a crisis meeting to discuss future arrangements.
Harry's father Prince Charles and older brother Prince William will also be present at the meeting, which will be held at Sandringham Palace, Reuters News Agency reported, citing a source from Buckingham Palace.
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, who returned to Canada with their son Archie after announcing their decision, will attend the meeting via telephone.
A statement from the Queen's office recently said it would take time for some complex issues to be resolved. Senior officials of the royal family will open the debate together for the first time on the issue raised by Harry and Meghan at the meeting, which is expected to be held on Monday (today).
The British public broadcaster, the BBC, had claimed that the couple had not consulted Queen Elizabeth II or other family members before making the statement and that Buckingham Palace was disappointed and hurt by this attitude and statement.
