Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Alexey Likhachev, the head of Russia's state-owned nuclear power company Rosatom, explained that despite the Coronavirus outbreak, there was no slowdown in the construction of facilities implemented in foreign countries.
In remarks to Rossiya 24 television, Likhachev said that in the context of the Coronavirus outbreak, there was no slowdown in the construction of facilities implemented in foreign countries, including the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant.
"All our projects abroad, except for small roughness, are progressing as planned, all our facilities are on the rise, continuing to gain capacity. We did not feel a serious delay in the implementation of our overseas projects.”
Nuclear power units that Rosatom continues to build in various countries, including Turkey, Belarus, India, Bangladesh, are in an active stage.
