Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Britain's Queen Elizabeth addressed the public with her televised speech for the fifth time, except for the usual annual Christmas message during her 68 years on the throne.
Queen Elizabeth expressed courage and unity in reviving the spirit they had shown in the Second World War to defeat the coronavirus epidemic. The Queen called on Britons to show the fortitude shown by previous generations.
The queen continued her speech: "Although we have faced difficulties before, this is different from the others. This time, using our scientific advances and healing instincts, we are acting in cooperation with all nations around the world. We will achieve that, and that success will belong to each of us."
In her speech, Elizabeth also thanked medical staff who are battling the disease on the front lines and those who have stopped more people from getting sick by staying in their homes.
