İrem UZUN -TDO- After Indian PM Modi, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday, where he drew world attention to the emerging humanitarian crisis in Indian occupied Kashmir. In his address at the UN headquarters, PM Imran heavily criticized Indian PM Narendra Modi and his party’s ultra-nationalist hardline style of governance."What's he going to do when he lifts the curfew? Does he think the people of Kashmir are quietly going to accept the status quo?" Khan said. "What is going to happen when the curfew is lifted will be a bloodbath". Imran claimed that there were no terror groups in Pakistan, and alleged that India's accusations were incorrect.Insisting he wasn't making a threat, Pakistan's leader denounced his Indian counterpart on Friday and warned that any war between the nuclear rivals could "have consequences for the World”.

On the contrary, Modi skipped any mention at the United Nations of his government's crackdown in the disputed region of Kashmir. He said terrorism was the greatest threat to humanity and the biggest global challengeand it is important for the world to unite in the fight against terrorism.
