Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The management of the Louvre Museum, located in Paris, the capital of France, announced that over one million visitors visited the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition.
The museum management announced that the exhibition, which was held between 24 October and 24 February due to the 500th anniversary of the death of the famous artist, has reached a new record with the visit of 1 million 71 thousand people.
In the exhibition, works of nearly 150 of the famous name of the Italian Renaissance period, ranging from paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, sketches and medicine to engineering, were exhibited.
540 thousand people visited the exhibition of Ferdinand Victor Eugene Delacroix, one of the most important romantic painters of France, held in the same museum in 2018.
Over 10 million tourists visit the Louvre Museum every year.
