Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Last week, Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry announced that a meeting between OPEC and some non-OPEC producer countries would be held via video conference on April 6.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitriy Peskov said the meeting between the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the producer countries had been postponed until April 9.
Peskov was speaking to reporters in the Russian capital Moscow, where he was asked by reporters about the oil markets. Russia is ready to work with other countries to stabilize the energy market, Peskov said. "to stabilize the oil market, countries that were not previously involved in the coordination process are needed. The videoconferencing was postponed to Thursday for technical reasons. This is being done in preparation for the meeting."
