News Center -TDO- The 34th anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was celebrated at the reception held at a hotel in Ankara when the Turkish Ambassador to Ankara Fazil Can Korkut was hosted.
Davut, Deputy Prime Minister Akif Hamzaçebi, Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu, AK Party Ankara Representative Ahmet Gündoğdu, Land Forces Commander Yasar Guler, Naval Forces Command Admiral Ozbal and Air Force Commander Gen. Hasan Küçükakyüz, BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici, DSP Chairman Önder Aksakal , TESK President Bendevi Palandöken, former prime minister Bülent Ecevit's wife Rahsan Ecevit, veterans, soldiers and a large number of journalists attended.
Speaking at the reception, which began with the reading of the National Anthem, Hakan Çavuşoğlu said that the homeland of Turkey shares the pride, excitement and happiness of the Turkish Cypriot people in heart.
Ambassador Korkut also recalled that the anniversary was the time of accounting and recall, and that the reception last year was held in an environment where the traumatic event created by the Fetullahçı Terrorist Organization (FETO)
He emphasized that the Cyprus Conference in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, is one of the most important peaks in terms of expectations and participant level, reminded the United Nations (UN) itself involved in the summit in the fifth format.
After the cutting of the celebratory cake, the reception of the TRNC Presidential Symphony Orchestra gave a short concert and ended with a meal catering.
