The New York Public Library decided to take a step into the digital world. The library is going to release an app that will allow readers, who have a New York Public Library card, to access its e-book collection.
More than 300,000 e-books will be available on the app, named “SimplyE”, to anyone who has a library card and access to either an iOS or Android device, according to New York Daily News.
And also Kindle and web browser versions of the app are in development and they will become available as soon as possible.
New York Public Library President Tony Marx said that the e-book selection is growing and the library is going to continue to make it more accessible.Serhat Tunar
