Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Free visa agreement between Iran and Iraq was announced.
Iranian Presidency Communications and Public Relations Deputy Berviz Ismaili announced from his the social media account that visa liberalization will be applied between the two countries. Ismaili stated that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdulmehdi discussed this issue in the recent days and they will sign a free visa agreement.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani traveled to Baghdad on Monday to meet with Iraqi President Berhem Saleh and Prime Minister Adil Abdulmehdi.
The Iranian President is expected to meet with Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, who is one of the biggest religious authorities of the Shiites in Najaf, as part of his three-day visit. Rouhani will also meet with other political and religious officials in the country.
