NEW PROJECT TO ENCOURAGE PUBLIC TO VACCINATE IN ISRAEL

According to the project, vaccinated people will be able to participate in a number of social activities.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced plans to a 'green passport' to encourage the public to vaccinate. Under the green passport plan, people who have been vaccinated will be able to enter theatres and cinemas with their passports, follow sporting events, fly abroad, enter restaurants and cafes.

Israel launched its vaccination campaign on December 20, 2020 with a Coronavirus vaccine developed by the United States-based pharmaceutical company Pfizer and its German-based partner BioNTech.

In the country, where the total number of coronavirus cases is explained as 740 thousand 527 and the loss of life caused by coronavirus is 5,486, vaccination of 45 percent of the population has been completed.
