News Center - TDO - Germany's new ambassador to Turkey, Jürgen Schulz, presented a letter of confidence to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Ambassador Schulz, who officially took office in Turkey, visited Anitkabir together with embassy employees.
Ambassador Schulz wrote the special ledger: With deep respect to the founder of the Republic. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made Turkey independent and directed it to Europe. Thanks for the friendship and commitment between the people of Germany and Turkey."
Ambassador Schulz served in Turkey, the United States, Canada, Western, Southern and Northern European countries between 2010 and 2013. In addition, he served as Deputy Director General for security and disarmament policies. Ambassador Schulz was most recently Germany's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
