Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The judicial process of the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, famous for her corruption reports in Malta, continues. Business tycoon Yorgen Fenech, suspected of planning the murder, told police that the former prime minister's chief of staff wanted journalist Galizia dead.
The court has charged businessman Yorgen Fenech, the former prime minister and former prime minister's chief of staff. Fenech claimed that his chief of staff wanted the journalist dead, while the prime minister was aware of the attempt.
This information was revealed during the testimony given to the court by Malta police detective Kurt Zahra, who had questioned Fenech. Detective Zahra also testified that Fenech told him that Prime Minister Joseph Muscat was also aware of the attempt later.
