Selin ATAY-TDO- Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has announced that Israel has agreed with the United States and Arab countries to stop Iran.
U.S. National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien met with Prime Minister Netanyahu during his official visit to Israel. At a joint press conference with O'Brien, Netanyahu suggested that Iran was threatening world peace. " We must all unite to prevent this great threat to world peace," he said.
In his speech at the press conference, the Israeli Prime Minister claimed that Iran supports "terrorist organizations" in the region and around the world. "If the Islamic Republic of Iran is not blocked today, tomorrow it will have missiles carrying nuclear warheads that can target Europe and America and become a global tyrant," Netanyahu said in his speech.
Netanyahu expressed appreciation for the role the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco have played in normalizing Israel.
Binyamin Netanyahu addressed O'Brien in his speech, saying: "President Donald Trump has adopted a policy of imposing the heaviest sanctions rather than indulging the tyrants in Tehran. This policy has received huge support in the Middle East. Israelis and Arabs alike appreciated Trump when he pulled out of the worst nuclear deal ever struck with Iran. Now Israel has agreed with the United States and Arab countries to stop Iran. O'Brien, I think you approve, too.”
Speaking at the press conference, US National Security Adviser O’Brien expressed his congratulations on Netanyahu's "bold" step towards normalizing Israel with 4 Arab countries (UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco).
In his speech, adviser O’Brien also stressed the importance of Israel's agreement with Arab countries. "All the deals that were made were very important. But none was as great as the one with Morocco, which has historical ties to the Jewish people," O’Brien said.
