NASA LAUNCHES SPACECRAFT CARRYING 4 ASTRONAUTS

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- NASA has sent the 'Dragon' spacecraft, owned by American rocket, satellite and space shuttle maker SpaceX, into space with its first fully operational crew.

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in the state of Florida at 19: 27 a.m. local time on Sunday (yesterday) with 4 astronauts inside, called 'Crew-1'.

Monday Saturday's SpaceX-owned spacecraft, which was scheduled to launch but whose launch was delayed due to Hurricane ETA, will dock with the International Space Station (ISS) at around 23: 00 local time Monday after a 27-hour journey.
