MATCH-FIXING INVESTIGATION IN SPAIN

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Spain, 11 people were arrested, including football players and club executives, in the scope of the match-fixing investigation made by Huesca Court of Justice.

According to Spain-based newspaper El Pais, former Real Madrid Spanish footballer Raul Bravo is claimed to be the head of the criminal-related crime group.

Among the detainees are Samuel Saiz Alonso of Getafe in La Liga, Inigo Lopez Montana wearing Deportivola Coruna, former player Borja Hernandez and Carlos Aranda.

In addition, the head of the Huesca Club in Spain, Agustin Lasaosa and the club doctor Juan Carlos Galindo Lanuza were also detained and interrogated.
