Joe Biden told multinational news-based pay television channel that he had talked with all his predecessors since entering the White House, with the exception of Donald Trump. However, Mr Biden refused to go into details about the conversations, insisting they were “private.” “And by the way all of them have, with one exception, picked up the phone and called me as well,” said Joe Biden to laughs from the audience as well as the broadcast journalist.
Yet, Mr Biden did refer to Donald Trump by name on several occasions during the live town hall event, his first since his January inauguration. When broadcast journalist asked Mr Biden president for his thoughts on Donald Trump’s acquittal at his senate impeachment, Joe Biden refused to take the bait. “For four years all that has been in the news is Trump. The next four years I want to make sure that all the news is about the American people,” said Joe Biden.
On a second occasion 46th president of USA found himself talking about ways to help small businesses and again found himself veering towards the topic of Donald Trump. “I’m tired of talking about Donald Trump. I don’t want to talk about him anymore.” said Mr Biden. Furthermore, during a discussion of the pandemic and opening the economy back up, Joe Biden even referred to Donald Trump as “the former guy.”
