News Center -TDO- Japanese ambassador to Turkey, Suzuki Kazuhiro, will visit the provinces of Bartin and Karabuk on September 22-24 as part of the Grant Program for Local Projects and will attend the Opening Ceremony.
Grant Program for Local Projects; It is a Japan-specific support system created to meet the diverse needs of non-profits such as local governments, educational institutions, and health institutions to support their development.
Since 2000, the Japanese Embassy has carried out projects in Turkey that provide approximately $5,620,000 in grant support to 75 projects in areas such as health, women, and education.
Ambassador Suzuki will attend the opening ceremony of the Project to Provide Vocational Training Center for Women in Bartin and the Mobile Health Screening Tool Provision Project in Karabuk, which has been funded by grants within the scope of the program.
Afterward, the grant program, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Exploring Japan", which consists of various panels promoting Japan with the contributions of Karabuk Governorate, Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Safranbolu Governorship, and Embassy of Japan, will be held at Cıngıllıoglu Art Gallery.
The exhibition aims to introduce Japan to those who want to get to know Japan better under a variety of topics such as language, food culture, cities, and education.
