Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The coalition meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and blue-and-white Alliance leader Benny Gantz once again resulted in negative results.
As the deadline for the Israeli parliament to agree on a deputy to form the government nears, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Gantz, the leader of the Blue-and-white Alliance, met once again in Tel Aviv as part of the coalition talks.
Neither leader made a statement after the meeting, which lasted about 45 minutes, said no compromise had been reached.
After the talks ended, a statement from Netanyahu's party, Likud, blamed the Blue-White Alliance for the failure to make progress in coalition talks between the two leaders. The statement said Netanyahu had offered Gantz an alternate prime minister, the proposal being rejected by Blue-and-white.
Blue-White has yet to comment on the talks.
