Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- High-level talks were held between the Israeli and Egyptian governments in Cairo and Tel Aviv on May 30 to simultaneously strengthen the fragile ceasefire with Hamas and to build Gaza.
Egyptian President Abdul Fattah es-Sisi sent Intelligence Service Chief Abbas Kamel to Tel Aviv for talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu and other officials.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi met with her Egyptian counterpart Samih Shukri in Cairo.
Ashkenazi became the first Israeli Foreign Minister to visit Egypt in 13 years following the talks.
"We will discuss with Hamas the continuity of the ceasefire and the construction of Gaza with humanitarian aid," Ashkenazi said on Twitter.
