IN SPAIN, LOCALS FLOCK TO THE STREETS

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Spain, where the state of emergency has been partially relaxed for about 2 months due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the public has flocked to the streets. The permission to play sports at certain hours and in a barren area announced by the Spanish government last Saturday was greeted with great joy across the country.

The government announced the decision after 49 days after the ban on departing 14-year-olds to play sports between certain hours, 70-year-olds to walk between certain hours and 14-year-olds to be with a family elder provided that curfew permits were granted between certain hours.

The state of emergency declared on March 14th as part of the measures taken against the Coronavirus outbreak in Spain will continue until May 9th and the gradual process of normalization will begin from today.
