Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- Nearly 2 million people have cared for 1 person who was diagnosed with a new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) in Perth, Australia's 4th largest city.
In the state capital of Western Australia, no new cases were seen in the first 24 hours of the 5-day restriction.
The decision was taken after a security guard was found to have got the coronavirus at a hotel used to keep people returning from overseas in quarantine.
The provincial government announced that 66 people were in close contact with the security guard, whose identity has not been released, and that no Covid-19 has been found in any of those already tested.
"In total, 13 people with close contact tested negative and 11 high-risk people were placed in hotel quarantine as an extra precaution," Western Australian state Premier Mark McGowan said in a statement.
