Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Hong Kong, thousands of people are still protesting the bill to extradite criminals to China.
The demonstrators gathered around Hong Kong's Yuen Long subway station on Saturday (yesterday), protesting the protesters who were attacked in the same place recently. Police attacked the police with stones and bottles and barricaded them with objects they found on the streets. Police forces responded with pepper spray and plastic bullets.
In a statement made by the police, it was stated that the protesters damaged the poles and the railings on the road. Police teams, the protest demonstrators were directed to the subway and announced that it is forbidden to walk in the area, but they were forced to intervene because of these warnings were ignored.
Before the march, many businesses and public buildings in the area were closed and it was announced to the public that the subway would not stop at Yuen Long station.
