An armed gang raided the Federal Forestry Mechanization College in Kaduna, Nigeria, near a Military Academy, at 11:30 a.m. local time.
Kaduna State Homeland Security and Interior Commissioner Samuel Aruwan said in a statement that unidentified gunmen abducted at least 210 people in an overnight attack on the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization in the Mando region.
Of the 210 people abducted in the attack, 180 were rescued, including 42 girl-students and 8 teachers.
Among those rescued were injured and taken for treatment, Aruwan said, adding that 30 students were still missing.
