Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Government Spokesman Stelios Petsas told The Greece-based Skai television channel about the growing tensions between Turkey and Greece in the Eastern Mediterranean in recent days. Petsas said they were prepared for any outcome and were not afraid of Turkey.
Stalios Petsas assessed that Turkey's actions were provocative and did not help resolve the problems, and claimed that the international public opinion favoured Greece.
"First of all, I must point out that illegal activities do not have legal consequences. The second is the continental shelf of the islands of Greece. This is a huge advantage. The preparations we make and the messages we send are steps to prevent further problems. We have good neighborly relations with Turkey. This is the result of a mutual development, not just one-sided."
