Serhat TUNAR -TDO- As a result of the discussions that began after US President Donald Trump told the European countries that they would have to take back ISIS member citizens in Syria, otherwise US would have to release them, the German government decided to expel ISIS member German citizenship under certain conditions.
During the process, Social Democratic Party (SPD) member Justice Minister Katarina Barley and CDU member Interior Minister Horst Seehofer came together to agree on a widely discussed issue in Germany. According to the plan, German citizen ISIS members who have dual citizenship can be removed from German citizenship.
People who have to be expelled from the citizenship must first have a dual citizenship. Secondly, these individuals are required to be older than 18 years. Finally, it will be considered that the persons concerned are not currently detained.
