Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Germany's government is preparing to lift travel restrictions to 31 European countries. The warnings, which were scheduled to be lifted after June 15, have been reevaluated after a positive shift in the number of cases in Europe.
Among the countries to be removed from the warning list are the 26 member states in the European Union, as well as Britain, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Lichtenstein.
A manual explaining what standards and data are being taken into account has been prepared by Germany, entitled 'criteria that make intra-European Tourism possible'.
Turkey is not among the countries on the list, which is expected to be discussed at the German Council of Ministers on Wednesday (today).
