Mustafa AY – TDO – 01.02.2018 Bahrain Court condemned its 58 citizens to the strict penalties as a result of upholding the indictment of supporting terrorism. The court accused the defendants of getting affiliated with a terrorist organization backed-up by Iran. However, to elaborate the lawsuit and the final decision of the court, the court found the defendants guilty from being member of Iran-backed terrorist organization, undergoing heavy training for the use of heavy guns and training over explosives. Accordingly, the court condemned 19 of 58 defendants to the life-long imprisonment, 47 of 58 to imprisonment for terms up to 15 years. In addition to those, remaining 2 were sentenced to death. Besides all those sentences, the court made an extra decision on stripping 47 defendants over 58 of their citizenship.
