Serhat TUNAR -TDO- European Union Commission Vice-President Frans Timmermans said the European Union's vaccination strategy had failed and said both Brussels and other member states had made mistakes.
European Union Commission Vice President Frans Timmermans made the remarks about the coronavirus vaccine in an interview with Tagesspiegel am Sonntag newspaper, DW reported. Acknowledging that the European Union had failed in its vaccine strategy, Timmermans said: "it is true that mistakes have been made both in Brussels and in other member states when it comes to ordering vaccines."
Timmermans continued: "I am prepared to issue a balance sheet following the end of the pandemic. Then we can see what we're doing wrong and what we're doing right."
