Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- With the emergence of new variants as well as increasing cases and casualties in the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in France, travel restrictions have started to be eased.
France has announced that it has fully opened its borders to 7 countries besides the European Union (EU).
As of March 12, passengers will not be asked to give a valid reason when traveling to France from the UK, New Zealand, South Korea, Australia, Israel Japan, and Singapore.
The decision was cited for the first time by the spread of the Covid-19 variant in the UK throughout the country and the developments related to the pandemic in those countries.
For countries where travel restrictions remain in place, the list of valid reasons has been revised.
In addition, family reunification and students' educational journeys were added to the existing clauses.
